This Grand Jury , chosen for July, 2009, Term of the Hall County Superior Court, respectfully submits the following presentments.
INDICTMENTS
This Grand Jury was presented with 144 cases of which 144 resulted in true bills and -0- cases resulted in no bills.
RECALL
The July 2009 Term of the Grand Jury remains subject to recall until the convening of the November, 2009 Term of the Grand Jury.
FISCAL REPORTS
Pursuant to O.C.G.A 36-1-7, this Grand Jury received on the second day of this term, the financial disbursement and receipts journal report of income and expenses for the month of June, 2009 from Charles Baker, Clerk of Court.
LAW ENFORCEMENT
The Grand Jury appreciates the professionalism and thoroughness of the officers Hall County Sheriff’s office, the Gainesville Police Department, the Flowery Branch Police Department, Oakwood Police Department, Georgia Bureau of Investigations, Georgia State Patrol, and the private citizens who testified in the presentation of their testimony before this body.
COMMENDATIONS
We thank Sheriff Steve Cronic for his presentation to this Grand Jury concerning the Hall County Sheriff’s Office and for the grand jury’s tour of the Hall County Jail.
We would like to thank Judge Kathlene F. Gosselin for her excellent charge to this body. We would also like to thank our bailiff Clint Sloan for his courteous service.
We would also like to thank District Attorney Lee Darragh and Assistant District Attorneys Lindsay Burton, Kelley Robertson, Shiv Sachdeva, Juliet Aldridge and Wanda Vance for the professional manner in which the cases were presented to this Grand Jury.
We recommend that these presentments be published in the official organ of this county and that said organ be paid the legal rate thereon.
