NOTICE is hereby given that the Hall County Planning Commission shall conduct a public hearing at the Georgia Mountains Center, 301 Main Street, SW, Gainesville, Georgia, at 5:15 p.m. on Monday, November 2, 2009 to consider the following:

1. Application of Charles Shadburn for a Use Subject to County Commission approval on a 11.0± acre tract located on the west side of McEver Road at its intersection with Bell Drive; a.k.a. 6182 McEver Road; Zoned AR-III; Tax Parcel 08132 000004. Proposed Use: Church cemetery.* Commission District 1.
2. Application of Hagen Creek to rezone from AR-IV to PCD, a 95± acre tract located west of Belton Bridge Road, 300 ft. north of it’s intersection with Cornelia Hwy (SR 365) and contiguous to the existing Hagen Creek property; a.k.a. 6929, 6937, 6945, 6961, 6965, 6971, 6975, and 6993 Belton Bridge Rd.; Tax Parcels 09064 000012A, 015D, 017, 018, 018A, 019, 022, 023, 023A, 055, and 057. Proposed Use: Mixed use community; an additional 95± acres, 170 residential units and 90,000 sq. ft. commercial/office which is to be added to the contiguous previously approved Hagen Creek property zoned PRD & PCD.* Commission District 3.

3. Application of Robert L. and Sarahlyn Cornett to rezone from O-I to POD and to vary the road frontage requirements on a 4.68± acre tract located on the south side of Thompson Mill Road, 850± ft. east of its intersection with Spout Springs Road; a.k.a. 5413 and 5415 Thompson Mill Road; Tax Parcel 15041 000003H. Proposed Use: Office, professional, caretaker and manager residence.* Commission District 1.

NOTE: In accordance with Georgia law, anyone who
(a) wishes to express opposition to the proposed rezoning and
(b) Has made, within two years immediately preceding the filing of the proposed rezoning,
campaign contributions aggregating $250 or more to a member of the County Commission shall file a disclosure of contributions with the Planning Department at least five (5) days prior to the first hearing of the proposed rezoning by the County Commission. (OCGA § 36-67A-3[C]).

*The Planning Commission's recommendation will be forwarded to the Board of Commissioners for final action at a public hearing on Thursday, November 12, 2009. The Board will meet at 5:00 p.m. at the Georgia Mountains Center, 301 Main Street, Gainesville, Georgia.
