DESIGNATION OF LOCAL
HISTORIC DISTRICT BOUNDARIES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN (pursuant to O.C.G.A.§ 44-10-26) that a public hearing will be held before the City of Flowery Branch City Council and Historic Preservation Commission to consider designation of local historic district boundaries within the City of Flowery Branch. The public is invited to attend and give comments and/or input at this meeting. The meeting date, place and time regarding this matter are as follows:

An ordinance designating local historic boundaries within the City of Flowery Branch is tentatively scheduled for consideration and first reading by the Flowery Branch City Council on July 16, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. The second reading and final adoption of said ordinance is tentatively scheduled for August 6, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. in City Hall Council Chambers. The Flowery Branch City Council has the authority to revise and/or amend the language of said ordinance and may do so as appropriate during first and second readings of the ordinance.
PERSONS INTERESTED IN THIS MATTER are invited to review the report and historic survey that have been prepared detailing the historic, cultural, architectural and aesthetic significance of the proposed districts. A copy of the report and map of the existing and proposed districts are available for viewing at the City of Flowery Branch Planning Department located at 5512 Main Street, Flowery Branch, GA. Written comments may also be received in lieu of testimony during the public hearing. Written comments may be sent to the following address:

NOTICE
The hall county Board of Elections will conduct a logics and Accuracy test on the Touch Screen Precinct, Accu-Vote Absentee Voting and Express Poll systems that will be used for the upcoming July 15,2008 General Primary Election. The test will begin on Wednesday May 28th at 10:00am at the Hall County Elections and Voter Registration Office located at 2285 Browns Bridge Rd, Suite 2 in Gainesville, Georgia, and will continue until all units have been tested and proven accurate.

Public Notice
The Braselton Mayor & Council will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, June 5, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. at the Braselton Police & Municipal Court Facility to take Public Comment on the proposed budget for FYE 2009. Copies of the proposed Budget are available at the Braselton Town Hall during normal business hours.
