NOTICE is hereby given that the Hall County Planning Commission shall conduct a public hearing at the Georgia Mountains Center, 301 Main Street, SW, Gainesville, Georgia, at 5:15 p.m. on Monday, June 2, 2008 to consider the following:

1.Application of Patton-Boyer, Inc. to rezone from AR-III and V-C to I-I, a 1.56± acre tract located on the south side of Browns Bridge Road at its intersection with Spainhill Circle; a.k.a. 4321 Browns Bridge Road; Tax Parcels 08057 001017; 016(pt)M 010(pt) and 018. Proposed Use: To build an addition to an existing warehouse.** Commission District 2.

NOTE: In accordance with Georgia law, anyone who
(a)wishes to express opposition to the proposed rezoning and
(b)Has made, within two years immediately preceding the filing of the proposed rezoning,
campaign contributions aggregating $250 or more to a member of the County Commission shall file a disclosure of contributions with the Planning Department at least five (5) days prior to the first hearing of the proposed rezoning by the County Commission. (OCGA § 36-67A-3[C]).

TO CREATE CHAPTER 17.440 OF TITLE 17 OF THE OFFICIAL CODE OF HALL COUNTY, GEORGIA, TO BE ENTITLED "BLACK AND COOLEY DRIVE OVERLAY DISTRICT” FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING STANDARDS AND PROCEDURES FOR IMPROVING THE DEVELOPMENT AND REDEVELOPMENT OF BLACK DRIVE, COOLEY DRIVE, AND JORDAN DRIVE; TO DEFINE THE TERMS SET FORTH IN CHAPTER 17.440 OF THE OFFICIAL CODE OF HALL COUNTY, GEORGIA; TO INCLUDE THE ESTABLISHMENT OF DESIGN GUIDELINES AND BOUNDARIES; TO PROVIDE FOR REQUIREMENTS AND PROVISIONS FOR THE BLACK AND COOLEY DRIVE OVERLAY DISTRICT (BCOD); TO PROVIDE FOR STANDARDS FOR RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT; TO PROVIDE PROCEDURES FOR APPEALS AND MODIFICATIONS OF THE REQUIREMENTS SET FORTH IN CHAPTER 17.440 OF THE OFFICIAL CODE OF HALL COUNTY, GEORGIA; TO PROVIDE FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE; TO REPEAL CONFLICTING RESOLUTIONS AND ORDINANCES; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.*
