LEGAL NOTICE
Atmos Energy Corporation has made application to the Georgia Public Service Commission for authority to increase rates for natural gas service. A copy of the application is on file with the Georgia Public Service Commission and is also available for public inspection in the offices of the Company in its service areas.
This matter has been assigned Docket No. 27163-U and has been scheduled for public hearing before the Commission at 10:00 a.m. on June 30, 2008, pursuant to O.C.G.A. Section 46-2-20 and Section 46-2-25. This hearing, on the Company's application and prefiled testimony, will be held in the Commission's Hearing Room 110, 244 Washington Street, S. W., Atlanta, Georgia 30334-5701, at which time anyone interested in this matter will be given the opportunity to express their views.
In accordance with O.C.G.A. Section 46-2-59(c), persons wishing to intervene must file a petition to intervene with the Commission within thirty (30) days of the first publication of this notice. Fifteen (15) copies of any prefiled testimony for Commission Staff and Intervenors must be filed with the Commission's Executive Secretary Office by 4:00 p.m. on July 29, 2008. Accompanied therewith shall be an electronic version of a party's filing, which shall be made on a 3 _ inch diskette using Microsoft Word® format for text documents and Excel® for spread sheets. Under no circumstances should any electronic filing consist of more than four (4) files, including attachments. This filing shall be made at the office of the Executive Secretary, Georgia Public Service Commission, 244 Washington Street, S. W., Atlanta, Georgia 30334-5701. Any expert testimony of a technical nature must be prefiled.
