CONSTRUCTION OF A WEIGHT ROOM FOR EAST HALL HIGH SCHOOL for the HALL COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION
Sealed bids will be received by Hall County Board of Education. 711 Green Street. Suite 100 Gainesville, Georgia 30501 until 3:00pm on Tuesday, February 12, 2008 for furnishing of all labor, materials and services necessary for the construction of the weight room at East Hall High School. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the time and place stated above. The project consist of demolishing and removing the existing foyer, restrooms, concession stand, etc. of the existing old gym and replacing with a new entrance, weightroom, rest rooms & concession. Construction will be brick and block , metal joist and deck with a built up roof. Cost is anticipated to be $450,000 -$500,000 range. A 5% bid Bond and 100% Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond will required. These bonds are to be executed by a Surety Company licensed to do business in the State of Georgia.
Bidding documents may be obtained at the office of Architects, Hussey, Gay, Bell & DeYoung, 625 Green Street, NE, Gainesville, Georgia 30501 770-533-1133. Bid document deposit is $50.00 per set. Bidding material will be forwarded, shipping charges collect. Bidding document deposits will be refunded as outlined in the specifications. Documents will be available for review in the plan Rooms in Atlanta and Gainesville Whiteprint in Gainesville.
